It's 2:52am and I just woke up. My son spontaneously woke up ten minutes ago. I took him into my bed with me but neither of us could sleep. So we got up.

Usually I would be more persistent about getting back to sleep on both of our parts. But this time I gave in to insomnia. So now we are sitting in the living room, he is watching "Blue's Clues" and I am writing a blog. Look! A friend just joined me!

Cats are always up for for nighttime action. Egreck is now sleeping on my knee. I wish I could sleep. I wish my son could sleep. Maybe we should try again?
That's terrible! I hate it when I wake up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep. And the stinky part is, you end up dragging a$$ through the rest of your day. Blah.
ReplyDeleteYeah, seriously, not fun!
ReplyDeleteAnnoying to say the least. But fortunately you put it to good use and wrote a blog. How handy is that?
