"Your shoe is untied!" She said in horrified voice. "Do you want me to tie it for you? I mean, you're pregnant!"
It only took me a second to reply:
"Yes! Thank you so much!"
With that, she bent down, tied my shoe and then paused.
"Do you want me to double knot it?"
"That would be great!" I said stifling a laugh as she saved the day.
that's hilarious! towards the end, Yasir tied my shoes a LOT! the things we take for granted....
ReplyDeleteIt was awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love this....tied shoes, chilean miner rescues...my heart is full today!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is too awesome! Just the other day I was struggling to carry all my grocery bags to the car while still keeping a hold on Grace. A wonderful man offered to carry my bags for me. I was so shocked that I didn't even respond, he just scooped up all my bags and followed me to the car. I am so thankful for helpful people!
ReplyDeleteYay for the Chilean miners being rescued!
ReplyDeleteHelpful people rock! I want someone to carry my groceries!
ReplyDeleteQuite random, but still a very nice gesture! I wish more people were like that!!
ReplyDeleteMe too Lindsay. Yes, so random!!
ReplyDeleteOmg - that is so sweet. Clearly she's been there, done that! Aw....
ReplyDeleteYay, for the awesome people out there!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's fantastic! Hooray for helpful people!!!
ReplyDeleteOh god, my husband was my designated "shoe bitch" during both pregnancies. He not only tied my shoes, but he put them on. Along with my socks, too.
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me, I haven't yet performed my random act of kindness for today. Better get on that! I'm off to search for a pregnant lady!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Oh my gosh, that is SOOOO SWEET!
ReplyDeleteIt really was. She was adorable, that woman was.
